Author Guidelines

Submissions

Registration in the system and subsequent access, via login and password, are mandatory for submitting papers, as well as for monitoring the ongoing editorial process. Access from an existing account or Register a new account.

 

Conditions for submission

As part of the submission process, authors are obliged to check that the submission complies with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will be archived.

The text must follow the journal's formatting requirements according to the ‘Guidelines for Authors’, found in the ‘Submissions’ section.

The submission of the cover page [see attached file] with the information relating to the article is a mandatory item and must be sent in a separate file at the time of submission.

 

Guidelines for authors

The texts submitted must be written with clarity and scientific responsibility. It is expected that the articles submitted offer the results of research carried out using investigative procedures characterised by logical coherence, national and international theoretical bases and sufficient substantiation. They should also use clear and concise language, although formal aspects may be corrected at the end of the evaluation process.

The texts to be submitted for evaluation, the content of which is the sole responsibility of the authors, must be original and unpublished and may be presented in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Contributions must be sent revised.

In the case of texts originally written in a foreign language, they must contain a title, abstract and keywords in Portuguese.

The text must contain a title, abstract and keywords in the languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish) indicated by the journal.

Information on the authors should include the following: full name (with correct spelling); ORCID; main e-mail address; affiliation, institution (full name of HEI, acronym, city, state and country); degree; source of research funding (if any); potential conflicts of interest (if any).

The minimum qualification for authorship of the work must be a master's degree. There may be co-authorship with master's students and academics, regularly enrolled in a Higher Education Institution. The maximum number of authors allowed is three.

Number of pages (maximum): articles: 25 pages; reviews: 9 pages; interviews: 15 pages.

Files sent for submission must be in open text format (Word) Word, OpenOffice or RTF.

Figures and tables incorporated in the submission must also be sent in separate files indicating their occurrence in the article;

The journal adopts the updated ABNT reference standard [Normas Técnicas - see attached file];

The journal reserves the right to make any normative, spelling and grammar changes in order to maintain the normative and cultured standard of the language, while respecting the authors' style. Articles may be sent to the authors for correction and adaptation to the journal's standards. Before publication, the final proof will be sent to the authors for validation.

  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
